Decisions, Decisions....

Hello Everyone,

It has definitely been a while since I last posted, but something has been troubling me for a long time I just have to let it out.  Please forgive me if  I offend you in any way, and in fact, please let me know.

Do you consider yourself a selfless person?  If you are a Christian and this is so, I would ask you to look again.  We are told in Mark 16:15b to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”  If you consider yourself selfless, then ask yourself if you continuously share the good news of Jesus to others.  I will quickly say that I for one do not.  However, this is what we as Christians are told to do, and not doing so is selfish. 

Let me explain: why do you not go and tell others of the gospel?  Here are the reasons that usually pop up: what will they think?  I’ll not say it right?  It would bother them, and so on.  Who is therefore the reason why you don’t go to the unsaved?  Why do we unabashedly do things in the sight of God that we would be embarrassed if others saw, yet are afraid of what others would think if we told them about the greatest gift?  Please, join me in a change.  A change is needed, and you, yes you are part of the need.  People are going to hell and not heaven because they are not being shown the true way, and yet we, because of fear, simply ignore them.

On another topic, we as Christians are to build each other up, and yet we go around spreading rumors that do not help our fellow brothers and sisters, or others that do not know God yet.  We also just as easily fall into a group complex where we stay and do not reach out to others, but exclude them.  Would God approve?  People are being hurt because we do not think before we do.  Time is ticking…. What will you do?
